Hi! My name is Onita Turner and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and I specialize in Pelvic Health.
After more than a decade of working in physical therapy, I've come to find and be fascinated by the connections that run through the body. I strive to look at the individual as a whole versus focusing on a small part of the body. This may entail discussing your nutritional health, your self care strategies, your support system and personal goals.
I've been a Physical Therapist for 14 years and 12 of those years have been in Pelvic Health. I grew up with an admiration for the healers throughout the world.... the Medicine Men/Women, the Ayurveda doctors, the Shamans, the Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors, the village healers. I was always fascinated at what they can do and how they can change people. Now, through evidence based practice and various forms of manual therapy, and techniques, and years of practice, I am so happy to be able to use my hands and help people feel better.
When I am not working, I am a cook, chauffeur, planner, etc for my 9 and 5 year old's antics. My life is their activities which currently includes ice, Cub Scouts, Ballet, and enjoying our pups Rani and Clyde.
